THE ROLE OF TERPENES

When it comes to good flower, there is more to the story than THC percentage.

Terpenes are the primary components in essential oils. Terpenes contribute to the therapeutic and aromatic qualities of cannabis, with some research suggesting their importance in reducing inflammation and anxiety, potentially as significant as cannabinoids.*

THE SCIENCE OF VAPORISATION

Different terpenes are more effectively preserved at specific vaping temperatures. Vaporisers allow users to control the temperature, tailoring the experience to the user’s preferences and needs. This can enhance the sensory experience and provide a more enjoyable and flavourful consumption method compared to smoking.

Omura's vaporisers use a precision heat curve, carefully designed to provide the user with the perfect balance between flavour (terpenes) and effect (cannabinoids), without the need to push a single button or move a dial.

CONVECTION OVEN

When choosing a vaporiser, it is important to consider if it uses a conduction or convection oven, the latter of which can improve discretion greatly. Conduction ovens have a tendency to char the flower which can produce smoke which is unhealthy and smelly. Omura's convection oven has a proprietary heat exchanger designed to give consistency in the air temperature which means that the flower is never exposed to a higher temperature than necessary.
